THE STORY BEHIND OUR MISSION
The Beginning
While sitting in my Construction Safety course, awaiting exam results from our group’s oral presentations, along with our individual grades for a mock audit report, I found myself brainstorming business names for my future construction business venture.

I went through several names before saying to myself, Khai Safety Consulting.
​
Just a second after, our professor handed out our graded assignments. Our group scored in the higher percentile, and my individual grade ranked in the top 10 percentile. Overjoyed, I said to myself—working in the trade as a carpenter while studying my craft was one of the best decisions I had ever made.
​
By the end of the graduating semester, I already had my business plan and proposal complete, along with the idea to officially register as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). I never imagined that it would bring me this far.
​
Can you believe that just three years prior, I wanted to pursue a career in Journalism and report the nightly news at Cable News Network (CNN)? Life is very interesting, and it will take you places.
WHY A BUSINESS?
The mission was simple—safety became a passion.

The goal is to help strengthen safety cultures and create subject matter experts by leveraging industry-related multipliers that influence organizations to put safety first.

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Khai Safety Consulting provides industry safety consultation to clients across various workplace sectors, including but not limited to construction, transportation, food safety, warehousing, and distribution.
​
Services include, but are not limited to, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Training, safety program development, and on-site risk assessments.
​
Khai Safety Consulting was founded by Jasmine Khai in April of 2016, shortly after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Studies (Liberal Arts).
